Emuhowo Ogbokor, RMN, joined PI Care earlier this year to work therapeutically in our nurse-led care settings.

Emuhowo has a wealth of experience working with a multitude of mental health conditions including supporting people living with eating disorders, and in different inpatient and community settings including mother and baby units.

Emuhowo previously worked as a Clinical Support Worker (over 9 years) and Prison Officer (over 25 years both in the UK and overseas). An interest was sparked supporting people with various mental health conditions, which along with the desire to make a real difference to people’s lives, is what inspired him to train as a mental health nurse.

When asked why he joined PI Care, Emuhowo said, “I was attracted to the movement of people living their best lives in the community  enabling and empowering our service users, whilst maintaining their safety and our professional boundaries at all times.”

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Emuhowo for the fantastic work he does which makes the difference to the lives of the people he supports and their families.
